U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joseph Quemado, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician assigned to the 774th Ordnance Company, explains a demolition shot to Soldiers assigned to the Quick Reaction Force, Task Force Redleg in preparation for a controlled detonation exercise near Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, March 19, 2025. The purpose of the range was to destroy unserviceable munitions to reduce risk allowing the Coalition to better support future operations. These skill sets allow Coalition members to be effective force multipliers by mentoring and developing partner force capabilities to defeat ISIS and maintain regional security and stability.
