Caelin Lathrop, assigned to Navy Region Hawaii’s Emergency Management Department, completed the 9-week Emergency Response Dispatch course at the Regional Dispatch Center (RDC) on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Mar. 21, 2025. The Emergency Management Department supports activities that ensure the readiness of military and civilian personnel through organizing, training, and equipping them to prepare and respond to the impact of natural, accidental, or civil threats to the Navy installation or surrounding community. Commander, Navy Region Hawaii oversees the shore-based operations, quality of life programs, and environmental stewardship in support of the United States Navy's mission in the Pacific.
