An M40A5 sniper rifle is oriented down range at a live fire range were U.S. Marine Corps scout snipers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines were conducting a calibrate of their weapons on Camp Leatherneck, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, March 23, 2013. The Marines were there to ensure the proper accuracy of their weapons systems before heading out to conduct combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
