A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress assigned to the 23rd Bomb Squadron at Minot Air Force Base (AFB) receives fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 50th Air Refueling Squadron at MacDill AFB, over the Nevada Test and Training Range during a tanker task force mission in support of Red Flag-Nellis 25-2, March 18, 2025. Stratotanker pilots participated in Red Flag by providing in-flight refueling to fighter, bomber, and support aircraft to maximize training effectiveness and simulate real-world combat operations.
