Coast Guard Cutter Calhoun, the U.S. Coast Guard’s newest National Security Cutter, conducted flight operations with a Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter. The 418-foot National Security Cutters are the most technologically advanced of the service's newest classes of cutters, an essential element of the Department of Homeland Security's layered security strategy.
