KEKAHA, Hawai'i (March 12, 2025) — (left to right) Biologists, Darrian Muraoka and Stephen Rossiter from PMRF's Natural Resources Department prepare to share activities about the thriving endangered Nene goose population at PMRF at a recent family event at Kekaha Elementary School. PMRF Sailors and installation Biologists participated in a Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math event also known as STREAM night at Kekaha Elementary School. The community engagement with Sailors and installation staff strengthens positive connections with local residents while highlighting the integral environmental programs that help protect native wildlife and endangered species at PMRF. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
