U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Luther Alston, 95th Civil Affairs Brigade Medical Operations NCO, works together with Maj. Mohamed Osman, a 433rd Medical Squadron neurocritical care physician, to demonstrate proper tourniquet application techniques during a casualty care training event outside Joseph N. France General Hospital in Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, March 25, 2025. The training is part of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 25 mission, and offered an opportunity for U.S. service members to exchange knowledge with Kittitian first responders. LAMAT 25 is designed to enhance the readiness of U.S. Air Force medical personnel while providing support to host nation providers and strengthening partnerships.
