April Romine, USS Decatur (DDG 73) weapons officer, originally from Oakland, Calif., provide a tour of Decatur for visitors from Ka'u High School March 29. The school's students and staff visited the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer as part of the Navy Region Hawaii and Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific shipboard tour program, which provides local civic and school groups the opportunity to visit U.S. Navy ships and learn their important role to maintain readiness and ensure national security in the Indo-Pacific region.
