PACIFIC OCEAN (March 21, 2025) U.S. Navy Sailors and U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement personnel from U.S. Coast Guard Pacific Area Tactical Law Enforcement Team embarked aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) approach a foreign-flagged fishing vessel from a small boat during the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) mission while underway in the Pacific Ocean, March 21. The Shiloh is deployed in support of OMSI, a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard's maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
