Xander Mezo of Amboy, Illinois, take over an up-armored HUMVEE while playing the opposing force during base defense training for the 232nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Marseilles Training Area in Illinois on March 31. The 232nd CSSB is conducting training at Marseilles for two weeks preparing for an upcoming deployment to Poland. In his civilian life, Schneider works in the warehouse of a Walmart distribution center. Mezo is a Local 464 union laborer at Precision Dewatering.
