Soldiers from 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and the U.S. Army Band, “Pershing’s Own” conduct military funeral honors with funeral escort for U.S. Army Sgt. Major Morton Windsor at Section 83 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Monday, March 31, 2025.
Windsor served in the Army for over 20 years, including the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His military awards include a Purple Heart w/ 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal w/ 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal w/ 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Korean Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Stars, and Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Stars.
Windsor was inurned with his wife, Erika Windsor, this service. Their son, Matthew Windsor, received the U.S. flag.
