Garrison Commander, Col. Chad Mixon, and Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Scott, signed a proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month on March 31 at the Soldier Support Center.
The proclamation stressed that child abuse in any form—physical, emotional, sexual, or neglect—has lasting effects and is unacceptable within military families. Leaders at Fort Bragg aim to highlight the importance of creating safe spaces for children and supporting families.
