Airmen from the 123rd Airlift Wing gathered in the Fuel Cell Hangar at the Kentucky Air National Guard Base in Louisville, Ky., March 14, 2025, for a ceremony to promote Col. Bruce Bancroft to the rank of brigadier general. Bancroft, a former wing commander, later assuming command of the Kentucky Air Guard during a follow-on ceremony the same day, replacing Brig. Gen.
