PHILIPPINE SEA (April 5, 2025) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Alejandro Ortiz from Ponce, Puerto Rico, prepares a tourniquet for a simulated medical casualty during a simulated chemical, biological, radiological attack aboard the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) while underway in the Philippine Sea, April 5, 2025. The Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the U.S. Navy and routinely operates with allies and partners to preserve a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
