JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii — Lt. Casey Mitchell, USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120) operations officer, and originally from Junction, Texas, provides a tour of his ship’s aft missile deck to visiting members of the Pearl City Neighborhood Board April 5. The board members and some of their families visited the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer as part of the Navy Region Hawaii and Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific shipboard tour program, which provides local civic and school groups the opportunity to visit U.S. Navy ships and learn about their important role in maintaining readiness and ensuring national security in the Indo-Pacific region.
