U.S. Air Force Maj. Stephen Barlow, 67th Fighter Squadron commander, taxis an F-15C Eagle before its final flight, after the 67th Fighter Generation Squadron activation ceremony at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Jan. 24, 2025. The F-15C will transition to become a maintenance training aircraft. The FGS construct places more emphasis on leadership in the maintenance enterprise at the tactical level of execution, allowing for advanced ability to tailor advocacy, policy and execution at the lowest level required.
