A U.S. Soldier assigned to 41st Field Artillery Brigade high crawls 25 meters while conducting an Expert Physical Fitness Assessment during the 41st FAB best squad competition on Camp Aachen, Bavaria, Germany, April 8, 2025. During the EPFA, Soldiers started with a one-mile run, then completed dead-stop push-ups, a 100-meter sprint, lifted sixteen 40-pound sandbags, 50-meter farmers carry with two 40-pound water cans, 25-meter high crawl, 25-meter three-to-five second rush, and another one-mile run. The Army Best Squad Competition tests Soldiers on their individual and collective ability to adapt to and overcome challenging scenarios that test their physical and mental endurance, technical and tactical abilities and basic warrior skills under stress and extreme fatigue.
