Spc. Timothy J. Beringer, 24, of Katy, Texas, is presented the Army Commendation Medal with Valor by Lt. Col. Corey Crosbie, commander of 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The presentation was to recognize Beringer’s valorous actions as a medical evacuation driver during a recent deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
