    U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Steven Telfer provides instruction to Lance Cpl. Devon Billy and a Republic of Korea Marine while conducting dry close air support training during the Korean Marine Exchange Program at Pilsung Range, South Korea, March 13, 2025. KMEP is an annual joint, combined, and inter-agency Exchange in the ROK that strengthens the combined command and control capabilities of U.S. and ROK forces. This Exchange provides the U.S. and ROK Marines the opportunity to rehearse combined operations, exchange knowledge, and demonstrate the strength and capability of the U.S.-ROK alliance. Telfer, a native of California, is a field artillery officer and Billy, a native of Navajo Nation, is a fire support Marine both with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.
