Christopher Dailey, the commander of 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment, provides insight on combat maneuvers and techniques to Avalanche Company infantrymen at the Biathlon Range during the blank fire rehearsal for a buddy team live fire as part of the company’s annual training on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Apr. 3, 2025. Avalanche Company Soldiers conducted the training to practice moving, shooting, and communicating together under simulated combat conditions to enhance the unit’s lethality, cohesion, readiness and warfighting ability.
