WRAIR-AFRIMS scientists collect ticks from Royal Thai Army military working dogs as part of their extensive vector screening for disease threats to service members. They detected Rickettsia and Ehrlichia in several tick species, with many ticks throughout the RTA installations testing as highly resistant to insecticides. (Edited by Ramiro Chavez)
