U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jessica Castro, 349th Aerospace Medicine Squadron registered nurse and diabetes educator, shares nutritional information with workers at the St. Kitts and Nevis school meals facility outside Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, March 31, 2025. The St. Kitts and Nevis Ministry of Education invited Castro and a team of Air Force nutritionists to speak with the workers as part of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 2025 mission, a global health engagement designed to facilitate the exchange of information while building readiness by allowing Air Force medical professionals to gain additional practical experience in their fields of expertise.
