U.S. Army Major Gen. John C. Andonie, Commanding General (Interim) of the District of Columbia National Guard, awards volunteers who assisted the DC National Guard during its support for the 60th Presidential Inauguration, during an appreciation ceremony April 12, 2025, at the D.C. Armory. The DC National Guard supports the Presidential Inauguration every four years to facilitate the peace transfer of power.
