Airmen assigned to the 625th Strategic Operations Squadron board a U.S. Navy E6-B prior to a Simulated Electronic Minuteman (SELM) test flight April 9, 2025, at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Twice a year, the 625th STOS tests the Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) while onboard a U.S. Navy E6-B to validate the system. SELM tests are scheduled five years in advance.
