Brian Nissen, and Multinational Battlegroup Poland Commander, U.S. Army Lt. Col. William Branch, brace behind a blast blanket while participating in an urban breech exercise during a combat engineer qualification exercise at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland on April 11, 2025. The exercise provided soldiers with qualification training on mission-essential engineer skills. Task Force Iron's mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality, while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s only forward-deployed corps in Europe.
