Marines from 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct a Service A uniform inspection aboard the USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) while at sea March 29, 2013. The Marines will wear their uniforms during a social event while ported in Greece as part of their scheduled deployment to the 6th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
