A coalition security force member stays vigilant during an operation in Pul-e 'Alam district, Logar province, March 14, 2013. The operation led to the arrest of a Taliban leader that was heavily involved in insurgent operations throughout Pul-e 'Alam. On multiple occasions, he directed subordinates to attack Afghan and coalition forces. He also engaged in a campaign of intimidation against Afghan authorities throughout the region, worked on the facilitation of lethal aid to his fellow extremists, and served as an operational mentor for junior insurgent fighters. The security force also seized an AK-47, four AK-47 magazines and ammunition as a result of the operation. (U.S. Army photo by Stephen Cline)
