A simulated chemical bomb lies shattered on the ground during Exercise Swift Saber 25 at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, April 21, 2025. Airmen from across the 52nd Fighter Wing demonstrated their ability to detect, respond to and recover from simulated chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incidents, explosive attacks and drone incursions throughout the combat readiness exercise. Swift Saber 25 strengthens the 52nd FW’s warfighting capabilities by validating ACE concepts such as rapid threat response, dispersed operations and mission generation in contested environments.
