U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Patrick Benn, left, and Sgt. The media engagement gave local reporters an opportunity to interview Marines as subject matter experts on Exercise Kaiju Rain 25. Exercise Kaiju Rain 25 enhances III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group’s ability to conduct command and control, employ sensor capabilities and integrate multi-domain operations to enable III MEF, the joint force, and allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Benn is a forward air controller and Ishimua is a transmissions systems operator, both with 5th Air Navel Gunfire Liaison Company. Benn is a native of Illinois and Ishimua is a native of Florida.
