The U.S. Naval Submarine School Submariners, Sailors, and staff hosted a memorial event at the Fort Griswold Museum in honor of ANZAC Day, Apr. 25, 2025.
Anzac Day, observed on April 25th, is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, commemorating the first major military action by Australian and New Zealand soldiers in World War I, the landing at Gallipoli in 1915. It has evolved to honor all Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in war, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
