Cpl. Kyle Sepeda, a motor t operator with Charlie Company, 2nd AA Battalion, is pinned with the Purple Heart Award from Brig. Gen. James Lukeman, commanding general of 2nd Marine Division April 1, 2013, at the 2nd AA Battalion maintenance bays. Sepeda received the award for wounds sustained from a roadside bomb while deployed for a year with Regimental Combat Team 6 in Afghanistan.
