Col. James G. Flynn removes pieces of red duct tape from a fence March 24 at Gate 3 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. Flynn is one of many Marines who work alongside Okinawa community members each week to clean the fences. Okinawa citizens, U.S. Marines and status of forces agreement members clean the fences, because it brings people together to help the community. Flynn is the commanding officer of MCAS Futenma.
