Earlier in the day, he delivered a motivational speech to encourage soldiers and students to never give up on their dreams in life, and he told them to “never settle in life,” even if they have achieved their goals. The Army has sponsored Brown’s racing career since 2002. He said one of the requirements to be sponsored by the Army is to attend four days of basic training every year to spend time with soldiers and experience what it is like to train up to be battle ready.
