Nicole Lafluer, equipment operator constructionman, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 17 pushes dirt with a D-9 Dozer which is capable of pushing 15 cubic yard of dirt. Seabees from NMCB 17 and the U.S. Army's 814th Multi-Role Bridge Company are working together on a large scale bridge building project located in western Iraq. Seabees attached to NMCB 17 are taking the lead in moving an estimated 70 thousand cubic yards of earth to aid in completion of the 300 meter Maybey-Johnson Float Bridge that will span the Euphrates River.
