U.S. Navy sailors and members of the Philippine navy, who have been invited aboard the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) for a ship visit as a part of exercise Balikatan 2013, observe as the ship casts off lines in preparation for getting underway. Tortuga is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group, currently on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility, and is participating in the annual Republic of Philippines-U.S. military blilateral training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement Balikatan 2013.
