A Filipino child is playing around the construction of the the Manggahan Community Center in Barangay Salaza, Zambales province, Republic of the Philippines, which is being constructed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Army engineer, March 23, 2013. The child showed the U.S. Army site's medic, Pfc. Shean Spacek, his foot with the blisters that had become infected. Balikatan is an annual Republic of the Philippines-U.S. military bilateral training exercise and humanitarian assistance engagement.
