Petty Officer 3rd Class Aaron Schwartz, presents the Asian inspired meal he made for the crew of Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star, a recipe he crafted himself that combines a zesty curry flavored fried rice, grilled chicken or tenderly prepared beef, mixed vegetables, a pork egg roll and a combination of a tangy ginger or creamy ginger sauce, April 3, 2013. Each duty third class food service specialist aboard Polar Star were encouraged to cook a meal of their specialty during the ships two-week shakedown voyage through Washington state's Puget Sound.
