    26th Marine Expeditionary Unit     

    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Bradley Sisson, an automotive organizational mechanic assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 26, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, signs out his M4 carbine with Sgt. Peter Van Dyken, a landing support specialist assigned to CLB 26, 26th MEU, during a mass casualty exercise aboard the amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17) March 8, 2013. The MEU is currently deployed as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group to the 5th Fleet area of operation. The 26th MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
