Spc. Kassie Bornes, a Blytheville, Ark., native, a truck driver with 1038th Horizontal Construction Company, attached to the 1st Squadron, 152nd Cavalry Regiment "Ghost Riders" out of Indiana, 1st Sustainment Brigade, to provide force protection in support of Multi-National Division - Baghdad. Bornes was part of a team that escorted dignitaries to the opening of a small-arms repair shop at the Taji national depot, May 21.
