Army Gen. William E. (Kip) Ward, Commander, U.S. Africa Command, speaks with a local reporter in the Gulu District, Uganda, April 10. During the visit, Gen. Ward met with local leaders, representatives of the U.S. Agency for International Development and members of the 354th Civil Affairs Battalion. Soldiers and Sailors from the 354th CAB are deployed to Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. They were in Uganda for a veterinary civil action project.
