Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, a Hattiesburg, Miss., native, talks to Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad during a visit to Forward Operating Base War Eagle on May 30 where he presented 14 Bronze Star Medals to Striker Soldiers. Hammond, the commanding general of the 4th Inf. Div. and MND-B, told the gathered mass of the importance of keeping pressure on Special Groups elements trying to hinder the prosperity that is beginning in the Sadr City District of Baghdad.
