Ray Turczynski speaks during the retirement ceremony for the MC-130E Combat Talon I at Duke Field, Fla., April 25. Turcynski spoke about 1980’s Operation Eagle Claw, the attempted mission to rescue hostages in Iran. Aircrew, maintainers and many others turned out to remember and bid farewell to the Talon I on its official retirement from the Air Force.
