Baumgartner, Seventh Coast Guard District commander, discuss the seizure of 2,200 pounds of cocaine, April 26 aboard USCG Bernard C. Webber while docked at USCG Base Miami Beach. The drugs were seized by crew members of the Coast Guard Cutter USCG Gallatin, while conducting a law enforcement patrol off the coast of Panama as part of Operation Martillo. After the seizure, the drugs and three suspected smugglers were transferred to USCG Cutter Bernard C. Webber and taken to Miami.
