Active duty, retired Marines, sailors, Department of Defense personnel and contractors participating in the first annual "Take a Stand" bike ride and their friends and family gather around for a special ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., for Sexual Assault Awareness month. The mornings' activities included a speech from station Commanding Officer Col. Robert C. Kuckuk, which called for everyone to take an active stand against sexual assault as well as a dramatic skit about sexual trauma and a bike ride off station to a local victim's shelter named Amberly's Place.
