The Air Traffic Control facility aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., is the hub for separating and controlling aircraft entering its airspace. Marines in the tower communicate with the aircraft as well as with Marines in the radar room, all to ensure a safe and expeditious landing or take-off.
