The amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) returns to Naval Base San Diego as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group. The ready group is returning from a western Pacific deployment where they performed maritime security operations, theater cooperation efforts and operational support in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas or responsibility.
