Mike Byers, an instructor for Tactical Tracking Operation School and a retired U.S. soldier, teaches tracking tactics combat engineer Marines of Mobility Assault Company, 1st Combat Engineers Battalion, here May 10, 2013. Created in 1994, the Tactical Tracking Operation School has focused on creating dismounted-based training programs for the Department of Defense and law enforcement agencies. The TTOS program provides visual tracking training and also covers dismounted operations, combat tracking and counter improvised explosive devices training.
