Chief Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) Todd Furst communicates with a command and control team about a simulated small boat threat aboard the littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1) during the Republic of Singapore navy's Western Pacific Multilateral Sea Exercise. Freedom is underway as part of the exercise after participating in the International Maritime Defense Expedition and Conference in Singapore this week.
