    The Japan Maritime Self-Defense force tank landing ship JS Shimokita (LST 4002) departs from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam along with the destroyer JS Atago (DDG 177) and the helicopter destroyer JS Hyuga (DDH 181). The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships are en route to San Diego to participate in multilateral exercise Dawn Blitz.
