Capt. Robert A. Baughman gives his remarks during a change of command ceremony held on board Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Baughman relieved Capt. Edward W. Eidson as commander of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group 1. EODGRU-1 provides operational EOD capability as required for the location, identification, rendering safe, recovery, field evaluation and disposal of all explosive ordnance including chemical and nuclear weapons within the boundaries of Third, Fourth, Fifth and Seventh Fleets.
